The recent Book Release Party for John Burgess and his “Graffito” was lively and well attended, and books flew off the table, surpassing even the informal goal for the evening. John and Raul Sanchez read from the book. Among the large crowd attending was novelist-turned-Foodie Marc Kipniss, as well as Seattle poet Don Kentop, and a candidate for City council.

An Argentine fan writes of Cooper Renner’s drawing on the cover of Ravenna’s new “A Heron in Buenos Aires,” poems by Luis Benitez: “the lines in his drawing are as ethereal as a heron’s flight…and the eyes on the man’s face look dreaming and thoughtful, as a poet´s eyes lost in his inner imaginary world.” Thanks for your art, Cooper!
